Two ways to automatically wrap data in Excel cells

You can perform word wrapping on a cell regardless of whether it already has data or if you are still waiting to enter data. There are two ways to wrap lines, and you can now use automatic wrapping for data in the table below that already exceeds the width of the cell.

Select the cells that you want to wrap (either one or more), and then switch to the Start tab, and then click the Wrap Line command in the Alignment group.

1, select the cell that you want to wrap, click the right mouse button, and choose Format cells in the menu that pops up.

2, a "Format cells" dialog box will pop up, switch to the Alignment tab, and in the text control group, tick "wrap".
