Principle:

GoogleCalendar can send free reminders to mobile phones, and Google Calendar supports the import of calendar in ical format. Imagine if there is an iCal source that keeps updating weather conditions, import it to Google Calendar, then set to receive the event (weather) notification from this calendar.
