Two ways to set line spacing in Word2013

Method 1: Set in row-distance list

Open the WORD2013 document window and select the paragraph or all of the documents that you want to set line spacing. Click the row and paragraph Spacing button in the Paragraph group in the start Ribbon, and select the appropriate line spacing in the open leading list, as shown in Figure 1.

The user can also set the line spacing in the Paragraph dialog box in more detail, as described in the following procedure:

Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window and select the document content that you want to set line spacing. Then click the Show Paragraph Dialog button in the Paragraph group in the start Ribbon, as shown in Figure 2.

2nd step, in the Open Paragraph dialog box, switch to the Indent and Spacing tab, and then click the leading Drop-down triangle button. There are 6 leading types in the line spacing Drop-down list, each with the following meanings:

(1) Single spacing: the distance between line and line is the standard 1 line;

(2) 1.5 times times leading: the distance between rows and rows is 1.5 times times the standard line spacing;

(3) twice times leading: the distance between rows and rows is 2 of the standard line spacing;

(4) Minimum value: a minimum leading value between rows and rows that is greater than or equal to the single line spacing, using single spacing if the minimum value specified by the user is less than one space, and using the specified minimum value if the minimum value specified by the user is greater than the row spacing;

(5) Fixed value: The distance between rows and rows using a user-specified value, you need to note that the value cannot be less than the height of the font;

(6) Multiple spacing: the distance between rows and rows uses the number of times the user specifies a single spacing.

Select the appropriate line spacing in the line Spacing Drop-down list and click the OK button, as shown in Figure 3.
