Two ways to view the source code of the Chrome browser extender

Note: The test is valid only on the current latest version 55.0.2883.87 m (64-bit)

First get Extensionid:

Chrome opens the Extensions page chrome://extensions/

For example I want to view Adblock Source: first copy his id:gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom

Method 1:

Open Directory

C:\users\{your_name}\appdata\local\google\chrome\user Data\profile 2\extensions

{your_name} replaced with your computer name

You will find a directory named Gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom. Double-clicking a directory in which the name is 3.8.4_0 represents the version of the extension.

Again, it's the source.
