In fact, this problem can be solved by recreating the user configuration folder.

1. Assume that the user name you log on to is Ralph. Log off first, log on to the administrator account, and enter C: Documents and Settings (C is the installation system drive letter) rename the Ralph folder under ralph1. This Ralph folder is the user configuration folder.

2. log out of the Administrator, log in with the Ralph account, and enter the system. In the C: Documents and Settings folder, you will find that the system generates a new Ralph folder, now this problem has been solved, but you will find that all the favorites and emails are missing. Don't worry. We will continue to recover.

3. Copy the favorites folder under C: Documents and Settings alph1 to the Ralph folder to overwrite the folder with the same name, and retrieve the favorites folder. Then copy the content in the "C: Documents and Settings alph1 desktop" folder to the directory with the same name under the Ralph folder, and the contents on the desktop are also retrieved.

4. Restore the email. If you are using Outlook, copy the files in C: Documents and Settings alph1local settingsapplication datamicrosoftoutlook to the directory with the same name in the Ralph folder. If you are using Outlook Express, set C: documents and Settings alph1localsettingsapplication dataidentities {A8032BBE-8068-431D-8355-83449AE5CC38} files under microsoftoutlook Express can be copied to the directory of the same name under the Ralph folder.

Note that the {A8032BBE-8068-431D-8355-83449AE5CC38} folder is named identitynumber, Which is randomly generated, as long as you enter C: documents and settingsadministratorlocalsettingsapplication dataidentities, There is only this folder, so there is no mistake.

In this way, all emails can be retrieved. Copy the files in C: Documents and Settings alph1application datamicrosoftaddress book to the directory with the same name in the Ralph folder to restore the contact list. If you have created a mail rule, click Start-run, enter regedit, and press Enter. in the registry, locate hkey_current_useridentities {identitynumber} and change identitynumber to C: the name of the folder under Documents and Settings alphlocalsettingsapplication dataidentities.

The above steps seem complicated. In fact, the actual operation is very simple and can be done within 10 minutes. The process of installing software is much faster than that of installing new systems, and all data will not be lost.

Office troubleshooting methods

First, no matter which version of the office is installed, you must add all the patch packages. Otherwise, many strange errors will occur and many errors will not be prompted, this makes it difficult to judge and solve the problem.

1. When saving the Office document, you can save it, but an error message "speech recognition failure" appears ". Click "tools-Options" on the menu bar to cancel "sneak into voice data.

2. When saving the Office document, the system prompts "insufficient memory ". Check whether the remaining space on disk C is large enough. If not, sort the disk or move the virtual memory to another disk. If the problem persists, save the content in the office document to notepad and restart your computer.
