Vmware-workstation-full-14.1.1-7528167.x86_64.bundle
The *.bundle file is special and can only be performed after you have given it permission to perform the installation operation. So the first step in the installation is to add execute permissions to the *.bundle file. There are two ways of doing this:
1. On the *.bundle file, right click on the mouse, select the last Item "Properties" option, in the pop-up Properties window select the "Permissions" tab, in this tab, you can see the "Allow program to execute Files" option, it is selected,
In this way, we add execute permissions to the bundle file.
2. Another way is to add execution permissions to the bundle file by command in the terminal. Open terminal (shortcut key is ctrl+alt+t), after opening the terminal, enter the bundle file directory (easy to operate), and then use the following command to add execute permissions to the bundle file:
sudo chmod +x *.bundle
Enter the user password, so that the bundle file is added to execute permissions.
Note: Where sudo is run with administrator privileges, chmod is the permission setting command; + indicates additional permissions; x indicates executable; "
two , add the execution permission is installed. Start the installation process by executing the following command within the terminal:
sudo./*.bundle
Enter to start the installation process.
"Note: First enter the bundle file directory"
The use of chmod can be viewed in the terminal with the following commands.
chmod--help
