There is a lot more than writing. This error occurs at the beginning of 10.10. It is easy to solve the problem.
Bios settings. The method is as follows:
Generally, the laptop enters bios settings by pressing F2.
Select security and then select I/O interface security c. The following options are displayed:
1. audio/modem interface
2. lan network interface
3. wireless network interface
4. odd interface
5. usb interface
6. new card interface
By default, the above options are all unlocked and enabled.
This is the problem. The new card interface needs to disable the last entry and change it to locked.
If you are installing the SDK, you can disable the wireless network interface and change it to locked.
You can also set audio/modem interface, n network interface, wireless network interface,
Set the new card interface to locked.
The ODD interface and usb interface do not need to be closed and set to unlocked. If you disable these two items, the usb and the optical drive won't be able to start.
After installing the system, you need to re-Modify the bios settings, audio/modem interface,
Set lan network interface, wireles network interface, odd interface, and usb nterface
Unlocked, set the new card interface to locked. If the last item is not set to locked, the system that you install on the removable hard disk cannot be started. Remember!
After that, you can install ubuntu 10.10 11.04 successfully! (The same is true for wubi installation)
