Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit installation of Android Studio and Genymotion
First of all, installing Android Studio on Ubuntu is really a pitfall, and it takes almost a day to complete it. Install java first. Check whether your ubuntu is 64-bit or 32-bit. Find the corresponding version and install it. I installed jdk1.8.0-25_1.8.025-1_amd64.deb. Now there should be a new version. Just download it from Oracle online. If there is nothing to say, I will not go to other tutorials.
After installing java, You need to configure the environment variable !!! There are several ways to set environment variables on ubuntu, such as modifying/etc/environment, modifying/etc/profile, and modifying. bashrc or. profile under the home directory. I don't know how to change it. I forgot it. If not, I can search for it. Note that you need to back up the file to be modified before modification. In case of a mistake, the file can be restored.
For more information, see the following article.

After java is ready, start to the topic:
First download android studio. If FQ is available, go to the official website and find FQ in the wall. The version should be at least 1 and later versions can be updated.
Download and decompress the package. So you can decompress the package to the home root directory.
Now we have to go to the trap area...
The first is the android sdk. If your network is not busy and you only want to install a few versions of the sdk, you can view the following. Otherwise, you can skip this section (directly after the split line ):
I am not busy with the Internet. I just want to install 4.4 and the latest one, so I decided to download the sdk myself. First download the android-sdk_r24-linux.tgz, of course the version may be different, this is currently the latest. After that, decompress the package and you can put the decompressed folder together with android studio.
Unzip the file name is the android-sdk_r24-linux.tgz, the following is the command line:
cd android-sdk_r24-linux.tgzcd tools.android
In this way, the android sdk manager is enabled, and the list is automatically updated. If you do not have a ladder, it must be too slow and time-out. The update fails. So here you need to set up, click the title bar, tools --> options, and set up a domestic image source. Here I use the Chinese Emy of sciences. See the picture. There are many image addresses on the Internet, you can search for android domestic images.
After setting, click packages-> reload in the title bar. Do you think that's all you need? Too sample! I still couldn't do it at the time. Even if I changed the image address, this product will still go to google first, and will only find this address after several attempts, but it may not succeed either, so try it several times. You only need to update the list. If there is no ladder, Never download the sdk like this.
This is the case after the list is updated (I have installed it, so it must be different from yours ):
After updating the list, you want to download these sdk packages, how to download it, we found an image address in front, such as the http://mirrors.opencas.org here, open directly in the browser, enter android, enter repository, after that, you can download it. Instead of downloading it all, you can compare it with the installed download above. The tools directory and extra directory must be installed, but android4.4 adnroid5.1 in the middle is optional, you can decide which version you want to use (in fact, only the SDK platform can be used. sample is a program example, and you don't need it anymore ).
In this way, the sdk is almost ready.

Go to the android studio directory, enter bin, and run studio. sh:
./Studio. sh oh yes
You can run it without an accident.

There will be some settings here, but I didn't (I didn't plan to send a tutorial at that time, actually =), and I simply said the text. There will be fetching android sdk component information just open. Please wait! What if I wait for a long time before I can search for fetching android sdk component information ....
Let me first talk about the automatic completion of the fetching android sdk component information. After the Automatic completion, there will be initialization settings. I did not, and it was yesterday. I forgot a bit, probably let you choose the installation method, here do not select standard, select the following one, as if it is custom, then there will be what you choose to install, there is an sdk what can be canceled, there is another Gbps instance that cannot be canceled. Here's the point !!! If you do not download the sdk as you did before the split line, you can continue to download the sdk for a long time. If you have downloaded the sdk, close the window in the upper left corner:
Ignore the project on the left. Here, if your version is not the latest, you can select the following update. Of course, you can talk about it later. Then, select configure.
Project defaults:
Then progect structure
Here you should choose your. Note that it is yours, not my above, your androidsdk directory, and the java directory do not need to be set. After selecting this item, you can turn it off, and move back to the next step to create a new project (the problem with the previously fetching android sdk component information is probably the same after the solution ):
There may be more things in the back. I don't remember it. If it's down, it's okay. It's in the wall. It seems like gradle. You don't need to download it yourself. We recommend you download it for other tutorials.
Then it is opened:
It may be different from your layout. It doesn't matter. Just set it yourself. Let's talk about this in this article.
