Ubuntu 14.04 under PostgreSQL-9.3 installation and configuration

Recently to use PostgreSQL under Linux, search the Internet for information, to organize the installation and configuration of PostgreSQL-9.3

First step: Installing PostgreSQL

sudo apt-get install postgresql-9.3

Step Two: Configure the password for the PostgreSQL default user

1 sudo su postgres-c psql PostgreSQL; 2 ' your password. ' ; 3 \q 4 sudo passwd postgres

Description: 1 Enter Change password 2 Modify user password 3 Exit 4 set Postgres user's password
