Ubuntu 9.10 automatically replaces the system Wallpaper

Wallpaper sometimes gives you a different mood. You have added a lot of pictures of wallpapers to your favorites. Here, you can turn them out to make them take the initiative to get enough photos, and google will surely get it!

Ubuntu 9.10 automatically replaces the wallpaper in three steps:

1. Create your own image folder and place the desired image under the new directory.

Sudo mkdir-p/usr/share/background/heishage

2. Copy the background-1.xml file to the file created in step 1 and modify it

Sudo gedit/usr/share/backgrounds/cosmos/background-1.xml/usr/share/backgrounds/heishege/

Sudo gedit/usr/share/backgrounds/heishage/background-1.xml

3. Create a script to control gnome background attributes

Sudo cp/usr/share/gnome-background-properties/cosmos. xml/usr/share/gnome-background-properties/heishage. xml

Sudo gedit/usr/share/gnome-background-properties/heishage. xml

Replace the cosmos in the above file with the heishage (your directory name) and the last path to your background-1.xml path

For example:

/Usr/share/back ground/heishage/background-1.xml
