1. Ubuntu 12.04 LTS version
Since Ubuntu 12.04 LTS comes with an older version of FCITX, you need to upgrade before you can install the downloaded Deb package.

Install or update FCITX

sudo apt-get install FCITX libssh2-1

See if these dependencies are installed

Dpkg-l | grep FCITX

2. Ubuntu 14.04 lts or higher version Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
