Installing Sqldeveloper

Download Sqldeveloper Linux RPM http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/sql-developer/downloads/index.html

Since Oracle does not provide the. deb installation package, you need to download and install Alien, convert and install rpm

sudo Install Alien sudo alien-i < downloads rpm Package >  #转换并安装 RPM Package

After the installation is complete, run at the terminal:

Sqldeveloper

If you run for the first time, you may be prompted to enter the JAVA-JDK installation directory, which is entered according to the path of your own machine, and generally, the version number may be different in the following path

/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk-amd64

Then follow the prompts to set it up.

Finally run Sqldeveloper boot again at the terminal.
