Ubuntu installation and configuration under VMware

I. Installation of Ubuntu

Two. System Installation

Choose to turn on the virtual machine power supply, as required by the above figure

Press ESC to enter Bois setting, select Cd--rom (CD drive boot)

Select No after entering the following interface

2. Configure user name and password

1. After the boot will prompt "Your language pack is incomplete, whether update." Don't care about him at this time, just drag it to the side (don't close it)

4. Enable root Account

The Ubuntu root account is turned off by default

1. Open a terminal, enter command "sudo passwd root" and execute!

Enter the current user password, enter the new password (2 times) input is not see any changes (note that your numeric keypad lock key is open)

After the success will automatically switch to root permissions!

2. Non-root user can enter "su" to switch in the terminal after the root permission is opened!
