Ubuntu installation English-Chinese dictionary
Linux is not lack of dictionary software, but the lack of thesaurus, all the dictionary software need to download the installation of the thesaurus, so the thesaurus has become a troublesome thing.
1. Installation of Stardict:apt-get install StarDict
2. To http://abloz.com/huzheng/stardict-dic/zh_CN/download the required thesaurus. (The original website has been unable to download, looking for a long time to find this site)
3. Run the terminal. CD to the downloaded folder first. Then sudo tar-xjvf stardict-oxford-gb-2.4.2.tar.bz2 for decompression
Then sudo mv stardict-oxford-gb-2.4.2/usr/share/stardict/dic/to move the unpacked folder under the/usr/share/stardict/dic/folder,
This is your/usr/share/inside may not have stardict/dic/directory, enter/usr/share/create can
: ~$ cd/usr/share/
:/usr/share$ sudo mkdir stardict
:/usr/share$ CD stardict/
:/usr/share/stardict$ sudo mkdir dic
(I installed the Oxford Modern English-Chinese dictionary)
5. Thesaurus management in StarDict can see the addition of thesaurus.
Then we can go to the Star translator and check the words.
