1.sudo Apt-get Install VIM-GTK

2. Configure VIM:

Open the VIMRC file with sudo vim/etc/vim/vimrc and then modify it:

Then Save:

VI Three modes of operation
Command mode, for entering commands
Insert (insert) mode, for inserting text
Visual (visual) mode, which is used to highlight and select the body of the viewport

For example, press I to enter the insert mode, when the characters are entered, press ESC first, back to command mode and press
Shift Plus: (two keys pressed together)

Appears in the lower left corner: (colon)

And then enter
: Wq
Save exit
