You will find that BT clients are not essential in most mobile phones. Android and Windows Mobile Phones already have such applications. It seems that Ubuntu will also be one of the supported platforms. Ubuntu developer Alan Pope published an application under development for the Ubuntu platform, which is named DowNow.

This is a relatively new application and is still under development. You can click the DowNow 0.3 installation package in Launchpad. If you want more details, you can also download it from the Ubuntu Software Center.

Currently, only Nexus4 and Nexus7 devices are supported. If you want to try Ubuntu on more mobile phones, it may take several months.
