1, in the download R source package

I downloaded this version of r-2.15.3.tar.gz

2. Decompression

My files in the/home/vobile directory, also extracted in a/home/obile directory

Cd/home/obile

TAR-XF r-2.15.3.tar.gz

3. Compile and install

CD CD R-2.15.3/

./configure--prefix=./configure--prefix=/home/liyistat/desktop/r-3.0.2--enable-r-shlib

which
--prefix=/home/liyistat/desktop/r-3.0.2 Installation path for R
--enable-r-shlib can ensure that dynamic libraries under the Lib directory can be shared

Make

Make install
