I'm Windows7 's Ubuntu with VMware installed.

VMware's network configuration is the use of bridging, then the Ubuntu inside VMware with a static IP bar, because the use of the desktop, directly with the graphical interface.

Ping this machine is no problem, Ping gateway appears destination host unreachable, target host unreachable.

Ifconfig look at the network configuration is no problem, very annoying.

Back to think I also installed VirtualBox, previously encountered the problem of virtual network adapter conflict, and then looked at the Windows host all network cards, the VirtualBox virtual network card is forbidden, and then ping on the pass.

That really is two virtual machine software virtual network card conflict, of course, if you want to use VirtualBox, you have to put VMnet8 banned.
