[Ubuntu Study Notes] link ed2k files with amule in Firefox

1. Download amule, amule-utils
Sudo apt-Get install amule-utils

2. Enter about: config in the address bar of Firefox to enter the configuration page.

3. Create a Boolean network. The protocol-handler.external.ed2k is set to true (New Extended protocol ed2k)

4. Create a New String network. The protocol-handler.app.ed2k is set to your ed2k path my sub is
/Usr/bin/ed2k

5. Create a Boolean network. The protocol-handler.warn-external.ed2k is set to false (prevent a message box from popping up)

6. Create a Boolean network. The protocol-handler.expose.ed2k is set to false

According to the above I previously can be used in Firefox, now rose to the firefox-3.5 fruitless, and finally added a step through Google

7. Download amule-gnome-support
Enter the following command in the terminal:
Sudo apt-Get install amule-gnome-support

Restart Firefox.
