Ubuntu terminal split screen

I. Update the source list:

Change the image source for/etc/APT/sources. List to net easy source: http://mirrors.163.com/ubuntu/dists/

Deb http://mirrors.163.com/ubuntu/ devel-Updates universe main multiverse restricted

Deb-Src http://mirrors.163.com/ubuntu/ devel-Proposed universe main multiverse restricted

Then sudo apt-Get update

Ii. Installation on split screen:

1: Install Terminator

Sudo apt-Get install Terminator 2: Default CTRL + ALT + T Open Terminator gsettings set org. gnome. desktop. default-applications.terminal exec/usr/bin/Terminator
Gsettings set org. gnome. desktop. default-applications.terminal Exec-Arg "-X"

Usage:

• Up/down split screen => C + S + O, left/right split screen => C + S + E
• Close a window or split screen => C + S + W, exit terminal => C + S + q
• Shortcut of control window size: C + S + ← →, switch window C + TAB window maximization => F11
