The installation is done with the bin/idea.sh installed after extracting the idea compression package.

Then want to uninstall, directly delete the extracted idea program directory is not enough, you must also put the/home/directory. IDEAIC2017.2/This hidden directory to delete the total uninstall, or can not be re-installed

To remove the product completely, do the following:

• Delete the installation directory

• Delete the "config" and "system" configuration directories. These contain IntelliJ idea ' s caches, configuration and plugins.
