Ubuntu will officially switch to systemd next Monday

Ubuntu15.04 (Vivid) is about to be released next month, but its test version is still planning a significant change: the initialization system switches from UpStart to systemd. The tests in the next few weeks will determine whether the Vivid uses systemd or UpStart. If too many problems are found, Ubuntu 15.04 will still use UpStart. Ubuntu announced that it had followed the transition after Debian selected systemd in the upstream release version, but Debian chose systemd in the community.
