First, describe my computer:
ThinkPad r400 is equipped with a hard disk. Windows 7 is independently installed on the primary hard disk when there is no hard disk. The slave hard disk also moves the hard disk to the primary hard disk without the primary hard disk, and the ubuntu10.04 is independently installed.
During the previous boot, the ThinkPad screen is used to press F12 to enter the BIOS boot selection screen and select the corresponding hard disk to start the system. It can be said that the two hard disks are completely independent.
The point is...
Today, after I opened ubuntu10.04, my hands shook and started downloading up to MB of updated files...
When the update is complete and you want to return to Windows 7, you will find that there is a boot screen that was not previously available. The above four items are from Ubuntu and then two memory tests, the last two are ThinkPad System Recovery and Windows 7 (load). I chose to start Windows 7, and the result is that the hard disk HDC cannot be found, a lot of digital cloud...
Sure enough, it cannot be updated .....
However, you can still access ubuntu. After searching for various methods on the internet, I found that an update about grub needs to be uninstalled, so I found the update that almost ruined my system through the new software manager.
Then, right-click "--", Mark and delete the -- "application, and delete the update.
Then I took a good look at "laruence's Linux private house dish", found the grub part, and re-installed grub. The result was a success, and it returned to the time when the BIOS was used for boot.
