1: Ubuntu10.04 system-system management-user and group-Management Group-select vboxusers-click Properties-select the current group member-OK to exit. 2: Insert a USB flash drive. 3: Start virtualbox -- set -- usb device -- add your usb flash drive to the usb filter. 4: restart ubuntu. 5

1: Ubuntu 10.04 System -- System Management -- users and groups -- Management Groups -- select vboxusers -- click Properties -- select current group members -- OK to exit.

2: Insert a USB flash drive.

3: Start virtualbox -- set -- usb device -- add your usb flash drive to the usb filter.

4: restart ubuntu.

5: Run virtualbox and start virtual xp.

6: Device-assign a usb device-select the corresponding usb flash drive.
