Since NVIDIA does not provide the optimus graphics card driver, we have to use ironhide.

NVIDIA doesn' t offer optimus driver, so we need to use ironhide for Ubuntu 11.10.

Whether to switch the video card before you start. Enter lspci | grep-I vga in terminal.

Sudo apt-add-repository ppa: mj-casalogic/ironhide & sudo apt-get update & sudo apt-get install ironhide-ui

Sudo apt-get purge ironhide

(Select default and corresponding settings)

(Often choose default and suitable choice)

To use an external video card, enter the optirun program name in terminal.

When you use externel VGA, type optirun nameofprogramme

For example: optirun google-chrome, optirun vlc, optirun totem
