Wubi can indeed be used for installation. wubi is installed on a windows file system just like a program. The following disadvantages are described on the Internet:

Disadvantages of installing Ubuntu with WUBI:

1. When a sleep or suspension occurs, it will crash. It cannot be recovered from the sleep or suspension state. It can only be forced to shut down and then restarted. FUSE and file-based switching are required for sleep and standby. We recommend that you use Ubuntu Tweak to disable sleep and suspension.

2. If a folder named "Ubuntu" is not installed in a partition, the Ubuntu folder of other partitions may be deleted by mistake during uninstallation, therefore, we recommend that you do not create a folder named "Ubuntu" in a partition other than the installation partition.

3. When deleting files in Windows partitions, the recycle bin cannot be used and will be deleted directly.

4. You cannot access files in the virtual partition when starting with Live CD. Once the system crashes, the file may not be retrieved! We recommend that you store all your personal files in the Windows partition.

5. When you enter Ubuntu installed in Windows, the system will easily crash if it suddenly loses power, because the installed Ubuntu system will be treated as a file in Windows, this file will be damaged when the power is down, and it will become abnormal when it is started or running.

So if you want to be as pure as you are, follow my methods. In fact, this is not a problem. Let me install it for half a minute. I just talked about a lot of basic things.

Let's get down to the truth.

You need:

1, Ubuntu system image,: Select 64-bit http://www.linuxidc.com/Linux/2012-04/59239.htm, better compatibility.

2. I spent more than 10 Gb of hard disk space.

3. A blank U disk or CD of at least 1 GB is used to burn an image. If your computer supports usb boot, select a usb flash drive. Otherwise, you can only use a CD.

4. EasyBCD. Because Ubuntu boot is different from win7 boot, do not use Ubuntu boot to start win7. You will regret it. After the download, install it directly in windows.

Start installation:

1. create a blank space for the hard disk to install Ubuntu. If you do not use the Windows home version, you do not need a tool. Choose "Start Menu"> "my computer"> "manage"> "Storage"> "disk management" (local) for example, if your d disk has 60 GB free space and you want to use 40 Gb for Ubuntu installation, click the D disk, right-click and select "compressed volume". Then, in the pop-up window, enter "Enter the volume of compressed space" and enter 40000, and continue until the end.

2. Burn an Ubuntu image to your USB flash drive or CD. You can use ultraISO to burn the image to the USB flash drive. How can you burn it to Baidu. You can simply burn your own CDs to Windows 7.

3. restart the computer, just like installing windows, to enable the drive or USB device, and insert your USB flash drive or CD. The following figure shows the normal situation:
