How to automatically set the brightness when Ubuntu 12.04 is started:
1. Open the Software Center and install the laptop-mode package;
2. open the file:/etc/laptop-mode/laptop-mode.conf
Change the following flag to 1:
ENABLE_LAPTOP_MODE_ON_AC = 1
Save the file;
3. open the file:/etc/laptop-mode/conf. d/lcd-brightness.conf
Modify the following lines:
CONTROL_BRIGHTNESS = 1
BATT_BRIGHTNESS_COMMAND = "echo 3"
LM_AC_BRIGHTNESS_COMMAND = "echo 3"
NOLM_AC_BRIGHTNESS_COMMAND = "echo 3"
