Two years ago, when I first heard about Linux, I realized that there were other operating systems in the world except Windows running on computers. A few months later, I went to college and studied computer science. I had more opportunities to deal with Linux. One year ago, I used Linux for the first time. Ubuntu11.04 was the first Linux I installed in my own book, while Unity was my first access to the Linux graphic interface. Therefore, I liked the Unity interface from the very beginning. Today, Ubuntu 12.04 is released. This is a Long Term Support version. I also decided to write another 12.04LTS configuration note to help those who are like me, friends who are struggling at the door of Linux or Ubuntu.
In this article, I will answer the following questions: how to install and configure wine offline and install Dr using wine. on the Com campus network client, how to install the closed source video card driver and closed source wifi driver offline, and how to install Flash offline.
#1 install and configure wine offline
This wine problem is mainly for students and teachers on the university campus who are surfing the Internet under Linux Ubuntu. Many schools use Dr.com Internet clients of popular city companies. However, many schools do not have the dr.com Linux version, which makes it hard for our students and teachers to use Linux. We have wine. What is wine? Wine is a software. You can search for it on google. In short, it is used to run Windows software on Linux or even Mac systems. However, the problem is that it is very simple to install wine commands online. Now we have to connect to the Internet through wine, as a result, everyone is stuck in an endless loop of "no Internet access-> no wine installation, no wine installation-> no Internet access ...... Obviously, if you cannot access the Internet, many functions of ubuntu will be lost. With the Internet, the configuration and use of Ubuntu will be much more convenient. Therefore, without a Linux Internet client, we can install wine by offline installation and then configure and install the Internet client for Windows.
Note: The following method applies only to the final release of Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit desktop. Other Ubuntu versions, other Linux releases, Alpha and Beta versions 12.04, 64-bit versions, and server versions are not applicable!
Before installation, We need to download some wine installation files, including all its dependent packages. A little more and a little big, a total of 53 installation packages, more than 106 MB. Ask the reader to download it from another computer and copy it to Ubuntu. The 53 installation packages are as follows:

Download all the 53 offline installation packages and copy them to the Ubuntu system. Suppose we put it in the "wine" folder on the desktop, and then press ++ Press the key to open the terminal and enter the following command to switch to the directory: (Note: Replace "User Name" in the address section of the command with your own user name)
Code:
Cd/home/user name/desktop/wine/
Then execute the following command to add permissions for the installation package. Note that the following command starts with sudo, and the command starts with sudo indicates that the command is switched to the superuser permission for execution, that is, after you enter the command and press the Enter key, the hacker will display a line of "[sudo] password for ***:", prompting you to enter your user password, there will be no changes on the screen when you enter the password, and there will be no "***" prompt as you enter the password. The password must be entered correctly at one time, if you enter an error, you cannot press the return key to delete it. Run the following command:
Code:
Sudo chmod + x *
Then, we start to install wine offline. The 53 installation packages we downloaded just now must be installed in a certain order. Enter the following command:
