I. Installation

Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: webupd8team/sublime-text-2

Sudo apt-get update

Sudo apt-get install sublime-text-2

Ii. Cracking
 
First, check the installation path of sublime-text 2, and then use vim to open the sublime_text file.

# Whereis sublime-text-2

Output result:

# Sublime-text-2: /usr/bin/sublime-text-2/usr/lib/sublime-text-2/usr/bin/X11/sublime-text-2 -- here there are two pieces of information, there is a space in front of the second/usr/

Next, go to the first path and check which files are available. Enter:
 
# Cd/usr/lib/sublime-text-2/
# Ls
The following file information is displayed:
 
Icon lib PackageSetup. py Pristine Packages sublime_plugin.py sublime_text
 
Then open the file with VIM (if the VIM input is not installed: # sudo apt-get install vim installation)

# Vim/usr/lib/sublime-text-2/sublime_text

Convert the file to a hexadecimal format. Input in vim

: %! Xxd

Locate "Thanks" text in vim.

/Thanks

Search for the numeric string "3342"

/3342

Find a place where 3342 is roughly like this ...... 4333 3342 3032 .......
 
Change 3342 to 3242. In vim, enter

: S/3342/3242

Convert the file back.

: %! Xxd-r

Save the file and exit.

: Wq

Open the program and paste the licence calculated by the program in help-enter Licence. OK.
