ubuntu14.04 Install Flash plugin for Firefox

Ubuntu system installed, found that the Firefox browser can not play video, has been prompted to install Flash, but follow the instructions on the Firefox browser flash plugin installation always fail, it can only be installed manually.

(1) Go to Flash official website: http://get.adobe.com/cn/flashplayer/Download the corresponding tar.gz compressed file.

(2) Unzip after download: TAR-ZXVF file name. tar.gz

(3) The extracted libflashplayer.so copy to the Firefox plug-in directory (/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins) can be, ordinary users may not be sufficient attention to the root user to the CP;

The specific commands are as follows:

Ctrl + Alt + T Open terminal

LS View current directory

cd download into the download directory

TAR-ZXVF file name. tar.gz (Tab key to help use)

After decompression, use the root account copy: CP or sudo CP

CP Libflashplayer.so/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins

Restart the browser;
