Ubuntu14.04 Quota Problem Solving method

1. Enable quota in /etc/fstab

# Vi/etc/fstab ( defaults after home/home entry , Usrquota)

Press A to enter edit mode

/dev/sdb1/home ext4 Defaults,usrquota 0 0

: Wq

2. Re -remount/home partition

# Mount-o Remount/home

3. perform quotacheck regenerate aquota.user file

#quotacheck-mc/home

the process of the specific time to see the size of the data used, large words will be in 1-2 hours,check the process is best not to use staff, so as to avoid data loss

4. confirm that /home/aquota.user has been updated

# ls-l/home/| grep Aquota.user (see the date is not the latest)

5. Restart the server

# reboot or init 6 (first try to work with an ILO server)
