ubuntu14.04 Shell script with select error

When you practice select in Http://wiki.ubuntu.org.cn/Shell%E7%BC%96%E7%A8%8B%E5%9F%BA%E7%A1%80, you find that the direct SH xx.sh cannot be executed successfully.

Script content:

#!/bin/bash

echo "What's your favourite OS?"

Select Var in "Linux" "Gnu Hurd" "Free BSD" "Other";d O

Break

Done

echo "You have selected $var"

Error content:

Select.sh:4: Select.sh:select:not found

Select.sh:6: Select.sh:Syntax error: "Done" unexpected

If you add permissions./xx.sh This will not be an error. SH xx.sh is going to be reported.

Workaround:

If the first line in the script is written #!/bin/sh changed to #!/bin/bash

When you execute the script./xx.sh execution or bash xx.sh
