1. Download the file

Because I want to give more than one computer to install Sogou input method, so with a folder installation, not a command line installation.

Open the official website http://pinyin.sogou.com/linux, click on your own corresponding system number of installation package, and then download.

2. Open the installation directory and bring up the terminal.

sudo dpkg-i sogoupinyin_2.1.0.00826_amd64.deb (the following is their own installation package command, update is not the same as mine, if there is an installation error, repeat the command installed several times until successful)

sudo apt-get install-f

3. Open "System Settings", click "Language Support", then pop up the following block diagram, click "Install".

Then enter the password or something, wait a minute.

4, then change the inside IBUs to FCITX, then turn off, then restart the computer.

5, restart the computer, you will see the upper right corner of the screen penguin input fcitx.

6, then right-click, select CONFIGUREFCITX.

7. Then click "+" at the bottom left of the pop-up box to add sogou input.

8, first, remove the only "show the current language" option, and then search box input SOG, you will find Sogou input method has already, select Input method can, then close.
