ubuntu16.04 under Chrome install Flash Plugin

Recently installed the latest chrome54 version of Ubuntu, found that the video can not play, prompted Flash version expires, the original chrome has no built-in flash plugin, need to install their own. Method/Step 1, Install Chrome Open video window will appear "Flash is not the latest version of the prompt"

2.under User directory, create the folder 23.0.0.185, and enter the following command at the terminal command line.

$sudo mkdir-p ~/.config/google-chrome/pepperflash/23.0. 0.185

3. open https://get.adobe.com/cn/flashplayer/download flash plugin, file name flash_player_ppapi_linux.x86_64.tar.gz

4, decompression Flash_player_ppapi Lou Multi-cheng can _linux.x86_64.tar.gz all files in the file, put to ~/.config/google-chrome/pepperflash/ 23.0.0.18 folder, which contains files such as libpepflashplayer.so.

5, edit the Google-chrome.desktop file.

$sudo Gedit/usr/share/applications/google-chrome.desktop

6 . Take one of the

Exec=/usr/bin/google-chrome-stable%u

To be replaced by,

Exec=/usr/bin/google-chrome-stable%u--ppapi-flash-path=/home/user/.config/google-chrome/pepperflash/23.0 . 0.185/libpepflashplayer.so--ppapi-flash-version=23.0. 0.185

7 . Close all browser windows to restart the Chrome browser, or try restarting the computer if it is not valid.
