The Ubuntu8.04RC version was originally released yesterday (April 17). However, due to minor issues during build, it will be released today (Friday), but it will not affect the release of the final version of Ubuntu8.04 on April 24. Owing to some setbacks getting the set of final packages built for future sion

On the release candidate images, the 8.04 RC will be pushed back a day

Friday, limit L 18.

This delay is not expected to impact the schedule of the final release.
