Save and grant the executable permission.

Set shortcuts

Main Menu-> system-> preferences-> keyboard shortcut-> Add

Name (N): synaptic (on/off)

Command (O):/home/yourname/Bin/touchpad. sh

Add/home/yourname/Bin/touchpad. sh off to the program that runs automatically during USB connection.
