The system image released in February 21 targets Samsung's Galaxy Nexus and Google's Nexus 4 smartphones.
The official goal is to help developers and enthusiasts learn about the platform and start building software for it-either a core feature or a full-featured third-party app store.
By the time Ubuntu 13.10 was released in October, applications (Qt/QML lingo) written on this platform ), it will be able to run on any Ubuntu device-PC, TV, tablet, or smartphone-without porting.
