sudo add-apt-repository ppa:phablet-team/tools
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb

Enable the USB Tethering function:

adb shell android-gadget-service enable rndis

When this function is enabled, network metrics on the desktop are rotated. The driver used for Android gadgets. Currently, only MTP and network connections are supported. The MTP connection disappears when the network connection is activated.

To disable the USB Tethering function, run the following command:

adb shell android-gadget-service enable mtp
