If yes, it should be a DNS problem, the DNS problem may be caused by an error in obtaining the DNS when the network is connected or a problem with the DNS server itself. In this case, you can manually specify the DNS Service (the address can be the DNS server address provided by your local ISP, you can also use the DNS server address in other places .) In the network properties, (Control Panel-network and dial-up connections-local connection-right-click Properties-TCP/IP protocol-properties-use the following DNS server address ). Different ISPs have different DNS addresses. Sometimes it is a problem with the vro or Nic and cannot be connected to the DNS Service of the ISP. In this case, you can turn the vro off for a while or reset the vro.

Another possibility is that the local DNS cache is faulty. To speed up Website access, the system automatically saves a website that has been accessed and obtained an IP address to the local DNS Cache. Once the website is accessed again, then, the IP address of the website is not directly retrieved from the local DNS Cache through the DNS server for access. Therefore, if a problem occurs in the local DNS cache, the website cannot be accessed. You can execute ipconfig/flushdns in "run" to recreate the local DNS cache.

When only ie cannot browse the Web page while QQ can access it, it is often caused by Winsock. DLL, wsock32.dll, or wsock. vxD (VxD only exists in the Win9x system) and other files are damaged or lost. Winsock is an important part of the TCP/IP protocol. Generally, the TCP/IP protocol must be reinstalled. However, XP began to integrate the TCP/IP protocol, so it cannot be simply uninstalled and reinstalled like 98. You can use the netsh command to reset the TCP/IP protocol, restore it to the status when the operating system is installed for the first time. The procedure is as follows:

Click "start running", enter the "cmd" command in the running dialog box, and then enter "netsh int IP reset C: the resetlog.txt file is used to record the command execution result. This parameter must be specified. The complete path of the specified log file is "C: resetlog.txt. The result of executing this command is the same as deleting and re-installing the TCP/IP protocol.

Tip: The netsh command is a command line-based scripting tool. You can use this command to configure and monitor Windows systems. In addition, it provides an interactive network shell program interface, for the format of the netsh command, see the Help File (enter "netsh/" in the prompt window ).

1. Line instability
If the domicile is too far away from the Telecommunications Bureau (more than 5 kilometers), you can report to the telecommunications department. Ensure that the line connection is correct (the connection methods for different voice splitters are different. Please follow the instructions to connect correctly ). At the same time, ensure that the communication quality of the line is good and there is no interference with other devices that may cause line interference, such as telephone extensions and fax machines. Check whether there is poor contact between the junction box and the crystal head, and whether there is any link with other wires. It is best to use standard telephone lines if conditions are met. It is better to use twisted pair cables of category 3, Category 5 or category 5 of ITU standards. The telephone lines are separated after they are entered. The most common error is that the IP address of adslmodem is set incorrectly or the DNS server is set incorrectly. Because the user of ADSL virtual dialing does not need to set an IP address, it can be automatically allocated. Generally, TCP/IP gateways do not need to be set. In addition, make sure to set DNS correctly. If the operating system is Windows 9x, enter winipcfg in the DOS window to obtain the DNS address, and enter ipconfig/renew in Windows/XP, or ask the local telecommunications department.

In addition, the TCP/IP settings are the most likely to cause the inability to browse the Web page. For example, if you have not changed the settings, you can always browse normally and suddenly find that the browsing is abnormal, you can try to delete the TCP/IP protocol and then add the TCP/IP protocol again.

4. An error occurred while synchronizing the adslmodem.
Check whether your telephone line is not in good contact with the ADSL connection, or the telephone line is faulty. If you suspect that the separator is bad or the adslmodem is bad, try to directly connect the external line to the adslmodem without using the separator. If it is determined that there is no problem with the separator, ensure that the connection between the separator and adslmodem should not be too long. If it is too long, synchronization is very difficult. If the above conditions are excluded, you only need to restart adslmodem to solve the synchronization problem.

5. Dial-Up software mutual interference
There are two ways for ADSL to access the Internet: virtual dial-up and leased line access. Currently, most of the personal user's ADSL uses the former. Pppoe (Point-to-pointprotocoloverethernet Point-to-Point Protocol) has its own advantages and disadvantages. After tests on different operating systems, if the operating system is Windows XP, we recommend that you use pppoe dial-up software, which has fewer cut-off and higher stability. If you are using Windows ME or 9x, you can use the following types of virtual dialing software: enternet, winpoet, and raspppoe. Among them, enternet is a commonly used one, And enternet300 is suitable
Windows9x; enternet500 is applicable to Windows2000/XP. If you have problems with a pppoe dialing software, uninstall it and use another pppoe dialing software. Be sure not to use multiple pppoe software in the same fashion to avoid conflicts.

6. Other Software conflicts

If you have QQ, uninstall your OICQ first and try again on the Internet. When you find that some software is disconnected and it is normal to close it, uninstall it.

7. Improper configuration of virus attacks and firewall software
Although it is less likely to be attacked by hackers and viruses, it is not ruled out. If the virus destroys components related to ADSL, the system may also be disconnected. We recommend that you install the "Skynet firewall" or "Kingsoft network firewall", which can monitor the communication between your computer and the network in real time and warn you of inexplicable network access methods, effectively reduces the risk of attacks. If it is determined that the software is damaged or attacked by viruses, check the installed firewall, the Internet shared proxy server software, and the Internet acceleration software.
