Unable to start process ' dotnet-projectmodel-server ' while starting VS2015 problem

The following error occurred when VS2015 Web program opened the project after VS2017 installation:

Reason:

Because the version of the Dotnet SDK was updated after VS2017 installation, and VS2017 no longer uses Project.json to manage dependencies. Replace with Vsproj.

Workaround:

Specify the dotnet version and add the Global.json file under the project file.

Add the following content:

{  "projects": ["src""test " ],  "SDK": {    "version " " 1.0.0-preview2-003131 "   }}

If your project file is not embedded in the SRC subfolder.

Then modify the Projests field:
