Some problems occur after a new Nic is installed.
When setting the IP address, a dialog box is displayed: the IP address you entered for this network adapter has been assigned to another adapter ...... It probably means that the original IP address is no longer available and you need to change the IP address. Then, call the Device Manager and set the hidden devices. In 'device manager → view → show hidden device' settings. The original NIC Driver is still found. Although there is no physical interface card, the system still uses this driver, and IP resources are also occupied. You cannot detach a file manually. Failed to uninstall the device. This device may be required when the computer is started. It cannot be uninstalled in security mode. Open the Registry again, find two NICs in the computer in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ controlset001 \ Services, delete the related primary keys and subkeys of the old Nic, and leave only the key values of the existing Nic. Press F5 to refresh and return to the Device Manager. The old Nic is still in use, and it does not work again.

Search and find the solution:
1. Click 'start'-'run' and enter 'cmd '.
2. Enter the "set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1" command in the CMD window and press Enter.
3. Enter the start devmgmt. msc command to start the Device Manager (you can also right-click my computer to start the Device Manager ).
Now, go back to the Device Manager and see some icons for some light-colored devices. delete them first and then disappear.
This time, you can try setting IP addresses and other operations.

The computer in the class cannot access the computer in the office. After debugging, the computer cannot be accessed from the "Network Neighbor", but the computer can be accessed by entering the IP address in "running.
This type of problem is often encountered. Most of the problems are caused by improper settings of the computer to be accessed. it is OK to reset it. But I did not expect this "accident ".
No suspicious settings were found on that computer. However, it is strange that some computers can access other computers on the campus network through "Network neighbors", and some can only access the computer through IP addresses. Another computer is also the same problem. This problem does not occur when other computers access each other. I can't explain it, but I'm sure there must be a problem with the settings of that computer. After the IP address is modified, the problem is solved.

After a while, the computer could not be accessed again. What's more strange is that the computer could not be accessed by IP addresses (the network connection was normal ). Try to reset the IP address of the machine to the previous setting. Then, the system prompts in the pop-up dialog box that the address has been assigned to another network device.

What's going on? After inquiry, I learned that this machine had recently replaced the NIC. It seems that the problem is caused by not completely detaching the old Nic. Because the static IP address is set on the old Nic, a series of problems such as network adapter settings conflict are caused, and the above "Strange things" are also caused ".

The root cause is found and it should be easy to solve. Unexpectedly, detaching the old network card is a trigger. First, I cannot find the old rtl8139 Nic In the Device Manager. Although the system folder finds and deletes its driver file, it does not work. Finally, I found the old Nic In "Device Manager> View> show hidden devices.

In this way, you can easily uninstall the device. When you click [uninstall], the message "unable to uninstall the device" appears. This device may be required when you start the computer ". I still cannot uninstall it in the safe mode. It's really a matter of worry! What should we do? Since this device is required during startup, it must have been written into the registry. Yes. Try to delete it from the registry. I opened the Registry again, found two NICs in the computer in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ controlset001 \ Services, and deleted the primary keys and subkeys of the removed rtl8139 Nic, only the key value of the existing Nic is left. Press F5 to refresh and return to the Device Manager. The old Nic is still in use, and it does not work again.

Do you have to retrieve the old network card and plug it in before uninstalling it? After several twists and turns, I finally found the method for uninstalling the system: Enter the "set devmgr_show_nonpresent _ devices = 1" command in the CMD window, press enter, and then enter start devmgmt. run the MSC command to start the Device Manager (or right-click 'my pc' to start the Device Manager ). Click "show hidden devices" in the "View" menu, expand "network adapter", right-click the old rtl8139 Nic, and select "Uninstall ", the old network card is finally unmounted. To further verify that the network is successfully uninstalled, I changed the IP address of the new network card without warning. After the computer is restarted, the previous "strange thing" disappears.

It is common for network administrators to remove NICs. However, if the chips of the New and Old NICs are different, and the old NICs are not completely detached (static IP addresses are configured on the old NICS), it will easily cause "hidden" conflicts and network faults.
