Understanding: Filtering of OSPF-introduced routes and how to implement routes for OSPF publishing

• anti-ring: OSPF is a loop-free dynamic routing protocol. But only for internal and intra-OSPF areas. There is no good defense against the external routing loops introduced into OSPF, so when the OSPF External route is introduced, the routing is filtered to prevent the loops caused by manual configuration.

• Prevent Database overloading: By limiting the number of external routes, filtering out useless routes to prevent OSPF the overload of the database.

How to implement Filtering

through ACL , Ip-prifix , Route-policy , Filter-policy and other tools to enable filtering of external routes.
