3, FrontLook Theme Chameleon---Adjust the background plug-in

One of the powerful features of FrontPage is that it provides a number of predesigned background topics. With these background topics, you can just click on a few mouse clicks to make a makeover for all pages of the site. However, the background that FrontPage provides is too bad, and the adjustment effect is not very good. If you are concerned about this issue, then you can install DPA Sofeware Company (http://www.frontlook.com/) specifically for FrontPage2002 design background adjustment plug-ins---frontlook Theme chameleon. When using FrontLook Theme Chameleon to modify FrontPage background themes, even independent image editors don't need to design a background picture for themselves.

Once you have installed the FrontLook Theme Chameleon software, it will automatically integrate with FrontPage. To invoke this program, select Format > FrontLook Theme chameleon"on the command line in FrontPage.

However, note that if you want to modify a background theme, you must first open a page that was previously stored in a FrontPage Web site. If you apply a background theme to a page, remember to check the page ID to see if there is an extra asterisk next to the filename. If there is, to indicate that the page has not been saved since the last modification, please save the FrontLook Theme Chameleon software before opening the disk.
When you start FrontLook Theme Chameleon software, you should first put the window to the maximum to see all of the software's options set, otherwise you may miss out on some of the buttons at the bottom of the window. Next, select a background theme that you want to adjust in the dropdown option on the top left. The selected background theme appears in the main area of the window, and the components in all background topics are selected in advance. The FrontPage standard "willow" background theme is shown in Figure 4.

You can use the lever at the bottom of the window to adjust the brightness, saturation, and level of the background theme (hue). You can use these settings at will, if you are not satisfied with the adjustment effect, you can simply press the reset button to restore the background theme to the original preset shape. For example, the original standard "willow" background theme can be changed a lot, as shown in Figure 5.



If you only want to change the background image in the background theme, the easiest way is to first load the entire background theme in the FrontLook Theme Chameleon software, and all the element presets in the entire background theme will be selected, so please press "deselect all" at this time (select None) button, next select the shared/background picture (global/background-image) check box. Any tonal changes you make now will only be applied to the background image. After the adjustment is complete, press the Save As button to save the new file name for this background topic (many background topics are read-only and you will be asked to save a new file for a new name for the background theme even if you select the Save button directly). When saving, you can choose the Apply to Web button, so all pages in the current Web site will automatically apply a new background theme after you close the FrontLook Theme Chameleon software.
