Uninstalling an Oracle database in Linux

Source: Internet
Author: User

Last week, a colleague encountered an error while installing Oracle in Linux. The installation was not successful. The supervisor asked me to re-install it. Only after all the previous installations are deleted can we ensure the installation is successful again. The steps for uninstalling me are as follows:

1.Run$ ORACLE_HOME/bin/localconfigdelete
2. rm-rf $ ORACLE_BASE /*
3. rm-f/etc/oraInst. loc/etc/oratab
4. rm-rf/etc/oracle
5. rm-f/etc/inittab.css d
6. rm-f/usr/local/bin/coraenv/usr/local/bin/dbhome/usr/local/bin/oraenv

7.DeleteOracleUsers and groups.

The uninstallation process is much easier than in Windows :)
