Sorry, because I was in the test environment at the time of construction, not much. In order to give you more and explain, I first put my environment inside the SP16 first uninstall it.

My current test environment is 2 DC, one Winserver R2, one winserver 2016. Domain contoso.com

There are two sets of SharePoint coexistence within the domain, a set of sp13+sql12, a set of SP16+SQL16

Today, we'll uninstall SP16 and SQL16.

Actually unloading the SP16 is not difficult, and even said very simple. But there are a few points of attention that you need to pay attention to.

1. When you uninstall SharePoint Server 2016 from the control Panel, most of the files and subfolders in the installation folder are deleted. However, some files are not deleted. Other than that:

• When you uninstall SharePoint Server 2016, the Web. config file, index file, log file, and custom settings, if any, are not deleted.

• The SQL Server database is detached, but not removed from the database server.

• When you uninstall SharePoint Server 2016, all user data remains in the database file.

  2. When deleting the SharePoint 2016 main program, remember to remove the language Pack first!

  3. Log in to the server using the SP Administrator account to uninstall

First, if we want to remove SharePoint 2016, we need to log in to central administration and first uninstall the feature server from server farm one by one.

As we can see, the SP16 field architecture of our experimental environment is simple, it is a standard Singel-server farm, only two servers, one multi-application function server and one database.

Then we'll remove them first. Click the Remove Server button on the right side of each server.

First we remove the SQL Server server

Then select Yes.

Uninstall the program to start running.

The system prompts us to uninstall complete.

Next we can see that the previous program for SharePoint Server 2016 is gone, and the SharePoint default site in IIS has been deleted.

If you want to uninstall more cleanly, you can also remove some of the SQL components that came with the installation SP16 when you installed it.
