Unknown and fear

It is generally believed that unknown can make people feel fear. However, the unknown can also give people a sense of waiting. People generally have one or more expectations for unknown things. These expectations may be both good and bad, or both preference or bad. When people have good expectations for the unknown, they are usually excited and curious. For example, start a new study in a desired school, start a new job in a desired company, or start your own life in a brand new place. When people have bad expectations about the unknown, fear is generally generated.
