In a recent accidental opportunity, Symantec was installed on a computer, causing various alarms, verification, and annoyance.
Then, we naturally want to uninstall this damn anti-virus software. I didn't expect this anti-virus software to be a rogue anti-virus software. Password is required to uninstall it.
Tragedy...
Then I started to search for the unmount method on the Internet and found that there are some unmount methods on the Internet. I just followed the method one and found that I couldn't do it, but I still couldn't uninstall it, so it was getting bored...
It took me a long time to conquer this rogue software. finally, I found a good method for uninstalling. However, it may not be as painful for me to encounter this problem because I can't unmount it, in addition, we also use this article to discriminate against the guys who write the uninstallation method into the document and then need to download points. the most hateful thing is to download the points and follow the operation or not work...
Let's get down to the truth and talk about the operation method:
First, my computer-> Management-> service, disable all servers starting with Symantec,
Then restart. If Symantec software is not started, Symantec can be deleted from the control panel.
Or you can directly uninstall the software by using another tool such as 360 software manager,
You do not need to enter password. The uninstallation is complete.
Suppose Symantec has started .(!! This is the focus, because the first case of uninstallation is nothing)
Restart again, press F8 to enter safe mode to enter the system, and disable all services starting with Symantec in the service,
Symantec... Manager service is disabled because Windows cannot be started normally.
If Windows is disabled and the Symantec program icon cannot be found in the taskbar, congratulations! We have successfully stopped Symantec antivirus software from being started,
In this case, you can unmount the tool directly. In the control panel, you can directly detach the tool software, such as adding/deleting programs or 360.
I shared my experience with you only after I uninstalled it, so there was no such thing and it was a bit messy. I just thought the average person could still understand it.
It serves only as a reminder. If you have any questions, please feel free to share your experience with me.
