2. In"Model Browser"Right-click the. edmx file and select"Update model from database".

   The model Update Wizard starts. If no database connection is specified"Select database connection"Dialog box. Otherwise"Select database object"Dialog box.

4. If select database connection dialog box, specify a database connection. related to specified connections, see the "select your data connection" dialog box (Object Data Model Wizard ).

6. click Add tab.

8. Expand"Table","View"And"Stored Procedure"Node and check the objects to be added to the. edmx file.

10. Click"Refresh"Tab.

    Displays the corresponding nodes of tables, views, and stored procedures in the existing storage model. Any changes made to these database objects will be reflected in the updated storage model. When a column is added to a table or view, the conceptual model is changed.

12. Click"Delete"Tab.

    Nodes about tables, views, and stored procedures appear. If you have deleted an object from the database and the object was included in the previous storage model, you can expand the corresponding node. Objects in these nodes will be deleted from the updated model.

14. Click"Done"To use the database to change the update. edmx file.
