Updating the Hadoop Eclipse plug-in

Uninstall the Hadoop 1.1.2 plugin. and install the new Hadoop 2.2.0 plugin.

Assuming that you delete the Hadoop 1.1.2 plugin directly under the Eclipse Plugin folder, the Hadoop 1.1.2 plugin remains in Eclipse, Map/reduce view in the Eclipse Perspective view, but no icon, The Map/reduce project also does not appear for new projects.

Need to run such as the following steps:

1. Delete the Hadoop 1.1.2 plugin under the Plugins folder and put it into the Hadoop 2.2.0 plugin.


2. Delete all files under the Configuration\org.eclipse.update\ folder.

3. Go to the Eclipse root folder. Execute Eclipse.exe-clean start eclipse

4. After the boot is complete. The Hadoop plugin is updated. Configure Hadoop and folders to do so.
