10.4 Upgrading the Secure server
If your deployment uses a load balancer to manage multiple secure servers, you can perform a connection server infrastructure upgrade with 0 downtime.
If you have more than one "secure Server", you must upgrade each secure server individually, as described in one of the examples below.
10.4.1 Reinstall Secure Server in view administrator settings
Before reinstalling the view security server or upgrading the secure server, you must specify the upgrade security server in view administrator and specify the configuration password.
(1) Login to view Administrator, in "View configuration → server", on the "Security Server" tab, select the secure server to be upgraded from the list, then click "More Commands" and select "Ready to upgrade or reinstall" in the popup shortcut menu, as shown in 10-36.

(2) in the "Warning" dialog box that pops up, click the "OK" button, as shown in 10-37.

(3) On the Connect Server tab, select VCS to connect to the server, and then click More commands to select Specify secure server pairing password, as shown in 10-38.

(4) in the Specify Secure Server pairing Password dialog box, specify the configuration password for the security server that will be reinstalled or upgraded, as shown in 10-39. Please note that this password can only be used once, if you have more than one secure server, please specify one by one on each secure server that you upgrade. You cannot specify multiple (times) at a time, and if you specify multiple times, the last password will prevail.

10.4.2 Upgrading a Secure server
After the view administrator configuration, you can reinstall or upgrade the View security server, the main steps are as follows.
(1) Open the View Security Server console, log on as an administrator, first open the console and add the certificates → local Computer Management component, view the current certificate in certificates (local computer) → personal → certificates is valid, and have only one certificate, as shown in 10-40.

(2) In the services, verify that the view security server and its associated service status are "started", as shown in 10-41.

(3) After running the View connection server (the security server and the security server are the same setup program), 10-42 is shown.
(4) in the "Configured Horizon 6 Connection Server" dialog box, the system automatically reads the current configuration and specifies the name of the connection server, as shown in 10-43.

(5) in the "Configured Horizon 6 Connection Server Password" dialog box, enter the companion password specified in view administrator for reinstalling the security server, as shown in 10-44.
(6) In the Specify Secure Server Settings dialog box, the current configuration is read, as shown in 10-45. In general, no changes are required.

(7) In the Firewall Configuration dialog box, select Automatically configure Windows Firewall, as shown in 10-46.
(8) Start the installation after installation, as shown in 10-47.

After the installation is complete, no restart is required. Return to view Administrator, in the "view configuration → server → secure Server" option, you can see the upgrade of the View security server, 10-48, in "version" will also display the correct version 6.2.0-3005368.

Then refer to the above steps to upgrade the other view security servers in the network, after upgrading, in view administrator, shown in 10-49. You can see the two secure servers after the upgrade in view configuration → server → secure server, and the version number is displayed.

10.5 Next Steps
After you upgrade the composer server, the connection server, and the secure server separately, you can open the parent virtual machines of each virtual desktop that you originally reserved, start the parent virtual machines, install the latest view Agent, and then in view administrator, refactor the virtual machines .
Finally, log in to Horizon Client, or access and check the view desktop in HTML.
(1) Log into the View security server or connect to the server, as shown in VMware Horizon HTML access,10-50.
(2) Enter the user name and password to log in, 10-51 is shown.
(3) View available desktops, 10-52 shown. Indicates that the view connection server and its server are configured correctly.
